A single grape variety on a plot selection. From the plateau terroir (500 m altitude), an area of very stony glacial terraces.
Deep ruby-red color, fruity, complex nose.
Straightforward on the palate, with notes of fruit in alcohol, prunes and chocolate, underlined by an elegant woody note.
Thyrse refers to both the staff of Bacchus and the pyramidal (botanical) shape of grapes.

Soils : Stony, sandy clay.
Selection by plot, destemming, light crushing. Vatting period of 3 weeks with regular pumping over.
After Malolactic Fermentation, barrel aging (50% new barrels, 50% 1-wine barrels) for 12 months.
Enjoy between 16° and 19° with grilled meats or game. It can also be enjoyed simply for the pleasure of drinking a good bottle.
Ageing potential: 8 to 10 years
